Abstract Celestialism

Inspired by the old fashions of medieval art, Triune is designed intentionally to be a triptych piece, each panel depicting one of the three members of the Godhead. Each surface in the triptych has a unique pattern and texture. Father, located in the center, is the top of the trinity and is represented in gold metals with flaming brush strokes. Son, located to the right of the Father, is the ‘right hand’ of God and represented in silver as a reflective icon of man with straight intersecting lines reminiscent of Euclidian diagrams. The Holy Spirit, located on the Father’s left hand, is a mixture of silver and a hint of tarnished blue azure to give a sky-like or aerial quality. The circle that traces across all three panels are three fluid circles, all intertwined to occupy a single space. This ring connects all three identities within the whole piece, a unification that is completion and oneness as the Trinity is bound together as a single identity; God.
