The Studiolo Empyrean is a small collection of like-minded artists dedicated to the Theology of Making. The act of creation is a sacred act performed by our ancestors since the very inception of the world. To create, make, and remake is a practice we partake of in communal emulation of God. We at the studiolo recognize this awesome gift and the power it possesses. Together, we work to create and preserve good cultural practices and foster new ones as part of our care for human culture.

The Mission
The purpose of Studiolo Empyrean is to create meaningful works that do the highest honor to the gift of 'making' that everyone is born to experience. Our goal as artists is to bring those ideas from the fringes of our understanding back into the light and use them to provide greater illumination. It is by the grace of God and the willing cooperation of His creations that this mission should be fulfilled.
The Vision
In our studio we look to God as the one true artist and maker. Mankind is a poor imitator whose many gifted purposes exist only to glorify the original creator and preserve our precious cultures in good faith by Him. We make out of gratuitous love for the arts.
Empyrean - empyros(Greek): in/on the fire
- Aristotelean Cosmology: the highest point of heaven, occupied by fire(aether).
- Christian Theology: the source of light & God's dwelling.
